Narita airport in Chiba prefecture, is located 60 km from central Tokyo. Narita International airport has two terminals (T1 and T2).
The best way to get to Tokyo from Narita airport by Express. A train leaves every 30 minutos/1hora from both airport terminals and passes through the stations in Tokyo, Hamamatsucho, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Ikebukuro. But it also goes to Yokohama and Ofuna.
The ticket costs about 3000 yen (depending on the destination station). The trip takes about 1 hour or less.
Another way to reach the center of Tokyo is using the JR Sobu Line or “quick service” which is slower but also more economical to be approximately 1300 yen price of the ticket. The journey takes about 90 minutes.
You can also use the shuttle bus or taxi. Although usually more expensive and the difference in arrival time is not so. Sometimes this option is even slower.
