Nagano

Nagano is famous throughout the world since the Olympic Winter Games in 1998. In winter, the mountains offer excellent skiing and the temperatures there in summer is ideal for excursions and hikes.

With its 2000 year history, the city of Nagano has long been a gateway to Asia. Zenkoji can visit the Temple in central Nagano is one of the first places of the Buddhist faith.
