The Japanese always surprise us with his inventions and customs. Sometimes we are left speechless when they see their new technological inventions and botos curious, when we read the controversial manga and anime, and even when we see his original YouTube TV.

Today we will talk about a strange festival called Hadaka Matsuri, or Festival of naked men, a sort of Wild On Japan!. Yes, this festival is undoubtedly the female tourist attraction in the town of Saidaiji in Japan, where thousands of men wet fun in a carnival of water wearing only underwear typical fundoshi called Japan a kind of baby diaper but extra-large size.

To join this crazy event that takes place normally in the month of January, do not necessarily have to be Japanese, to this small town tourists annually arrive from all over the world to drink plenty of sake and being part of the celebration of the cloth children. Yes, the only requirements to participate are male gender, wanting to have fun and be prepared to get wet, even when it’s cold at night and shout the famous phrase of the festival: Washoi! Washoi! The climax of the festival starts at midnight exactly when two small wooden sticks called Shingi are released from a local temple. Just then the crowd goes wild in search of one of the sticks. It is as if we were present at a punk concert with youth dancing to crazed pogo. History tells us that the 2 men who are lucky enough to catch one of the sticks have a year full of satisfaction. Meanwhile the men throw buckets of water at each other as a symbol of ritual purification of body and soul, a tradition that has existed for several centuries.
