Fall is one of the best times of year to travel to Japan. Landscapes ocher, brown, red and gold are really beautiful and if you appreciate good photos this fall, along with the time when the cherry blossom season will give you great memories.

But besides all the celebrations proper Japanese it is true that these people have absorbed much of Western culture, or should I say American? Well, one way or another, all we have and then October is the month of Halloween. When I was young nobody celebrated Halloween, but today are becoming more pumpkins and black and orange decorations, is not it?

The Japanese are a people very open to foreign fashions and December is the month the red, white and green for Christmas, so October is Halloween. Events related to this festival takes place from late September through October and there are many parades and parties. Here are a few.

In the Disney of Japan have special events on 9 September and throughout October. All Disney characters are costumed and masked people should go well. On the other hand there are parades, one of them is in the city of Kawasaki, near the JR train station on 29, 39 and 31 October. People pay and participates in the parade between 10:30 am and 1pm.

There is another parade in Harajuku, Tokyo. Hello This is the Halloween Pumpikin, on 24 October between 11am and 5pm. This involved many children. In Roppongi Hills is another parade on October 30 between 11am and 1:30 pm and in Tama, Tokyo, Puroland have the parade with all the characters of Hello Kitty but with parties throughout October on 9, 10, 11 , 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31. You should go dressed as a character from Sanrio.

These events are not the only ones so if you’ll be in Japan in October, pay attention and ask a young Japanese are planned for Halloween.
