Made up of 160 small islands of which only 44 are inhabited. This region is very popular for its beautiful beaches, fauna and flora. One of its main attractions is diving, which attracts thousands of tourists every year.
Not unexpectedly, the islands of American soldiers and that until 1972 the islands belonged to the U.S. and even today there are American bases in Okinawa.
