
The bulk of central Tokyo is home to the large park surrounding the Imperial Palace. This park is a relic of the past as a medieval fortress city of Tokyo. North of the park is the Yasukuni-jinja Shrine which honors Japan’s dead.
East of the park are the busiest as Y?raguch? Ginza or Nihombashi which are the center of the city. These neighborhoods have to walk to see the incredible selection of local bars and shops that are, where they become unavoidable for the most typical tourist museums and the Tokyo International Forum.
North of the Palace Park is Kanda, area full of bookstores, and Jimbocho. Next is Akibahara that lovers go crazy for electronics and gadgets.
East of Akibahara this Ryogoku, where it is almost obligatory to visit the Edo-Tokyo Museum amazing, devoted to the history of the city itself.
The Entertainment District is Akasaka, south of Palacio, and place a high level. Most young people prefer to Roppongi, west of the Palace. From the top of the Tokyo Tower will have a commanding view of the bay and the city.
