Bilbao, once a plain, gritty industrial city, is a vibrant modern metropolis, best known as the home of the Guggenheim Museum. Unlike many popular Spanish tourist destinations, there are no beaches, but the city is an excellent holiday destination with luxurious five star Bilbao hotels.
